Have you thought about that?
It is like asking, “Why are you disturbing us with medicine when we are sick?” There is no better time to insist on personal development education than now that the economy is hard. “A sick person needs a doctor.”
Some time ago my mother owned a farm in their compound. She sowed maize five times repeatedly and five times the hens in the compound removed the seeds from the ground. Despite that, my mother persevered and planted the sixth time. She harvested eventually.
Would you have also persevered or given up? We need to look at hardship as an opportunity for growth. We need to become more to do more. We need to have the right philosophy.
Do you still spend money on children’s school fees, rent, food, light bills, phone units, data etc? If, yes, then why despite the hard economy? They are very important to you. Jesus has captured this philosophy well, “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be,” (Luke 12:34 NLT).
Personal development is a treasure field for me. I must continue to dig it out and search for treasure. What about you? Overcome the culture of not seeking growth because times are hard, to seeking it despite the hard times because medicines are needed when someone is sick or to prevent sickness. NOW IS THE TIME. INVEST IN YOUR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT.
