Every culture needs branding. It is hard to expose and market a culture locally and internationally without it. Branding is “The promotion of a particular product or company by means of advertising and distinctive design.” A culture can also fit into that concept.
First, you have to make a general assessment and documentation of the culture. Then find what is unique about it. It could be the history, local heroes, language, festival, raw materials, location, religion, traditional leadership, market, attires, art, special skills, dance etc.
This is not the decision of one person. It has to be a collective decision. The people must participate in the process. There is a saying that, “People support what they help to create.”
