Is it possible for the creature to know better than the Creator? Where was the creature before he or she was created? Where was he or she before the Creator thought of him or her? Developed an idea? Chose the idea as a solution to a need? Only the Creator knows best how the creature should live. That is why no matter what happens to us, comfort should be derived from the fact that the Creator knows best. The Creator has a master plan that is not completely unveiled. Bit by bit is the Creator’s approach. When a person complains bitterly over an issue he faces, he may be doing so out of ignorance because he doesn’t fully know the master plan of the Creator about that issue for his life.
When people try to give you directions, the questions that should occupy your mind are, Are they my Creator? Can they know the master plan for my life?
People can suggest and assume what you should be. Parents and friends often play significant roles in that regard, but the fact remains that they don’t have the master plan for your life. People may look down on you and say to your face that you will never be significant in anything you do. Like me, in my childhood, I was often regarded as a slow learner or dull person, especially by a lady who lived with us in our family. I asked my elder sister some time ago to text me her description of me in my childhood. This is what she wrote, “…you were a very slow learner while growing up. I can remember vividly that it was in the mid-secondary that you picked up fast and since then God turned you up to be not only a fast learner, but a man of wisdom….”
God is using me to minister hope to many people. Those who regarded me as a dull person were clueless about my future. The Creator knew that I was not dull. He knew that one day He would use me to bless people. It is good to always find out the master plan of the Creator, not the plans of people because only the Creator knows best.
