PROBLEM SOLVING

Identifying your area of responsibility is good, but not enough to
make you relevant. Relevance is highly achieved after solving a
problem. A person who is able to solve problems in society or
office becomes relevant no matter his position.
Think of any problem that is disturbing humanity. Do your
homework and solve the problem. You will be surprised at the level of reception you will have. Any good organization you see is a solution to a problem. That is why the founders of organizations have income for their services. Customers pay
them for solving their problems.
In my own case, I did some research work on the subjects of
purpose and book writing. I have written books that have been
useful to many people. I have spoken in different conferences
and occasions. Many people have paid money to attend our book
writers workshops and many more would attend, by the grace of
God. What do you think is motivating them to be part of what
God is using us to do? It is not because they like my face or
other resource persons. They receive answers to many of their
pressing questions. They are sure that our services will help them
achieve their dreams.
Many people are contributing well in different ways. Some
through evangelism, sports, business, medicine, leadership and
others. Some are no more alive, but still relevant. It is hard for
people to forget them.
You cannot achieve relevance by imitating another person.
The person you imitate will solve problems more than you.
Therefore, his relevance will overshadow yours. Be the best at
what you do. Have your style of doing things. You have the
potential to do that. You will have platforms for change that
could take you beyond your imagination.
Even when people reject you they will later bring you back to
their circles because of what they would lose if they don‘t.
