MUNA PAGIR: A Little Girl With Great Ideas

Many people may not believe that a child can think and act like Muna. However, the main focus is on God and how far He can use a child. The common view, especially in Africa, is that there are many things that only adults can or should do. The boundary of that has been pushed higher in this series. It is more about what could be instead of what it is.
Adults often discuss issues affecting children, for children, but not with them. There are some thoughts and actions children have and do which usually surprise many adults. The common response is, “This child is acting as an adult” or “Such a thought cannot come from a child.”

There are various examples of children used by God in the Holy Bible.

In this series, I believe that God can equip a child with ideas that many adults do not have. He can give a child the courage to accomplish his or her vision efficiently.

We need to develop a culture where children are not only seen as consumers, but as contributors. Adults can also learn from them.

Do not call a child a dull person no matter how weak he or she performs in school or society. Every child is like a small tree in a garden or forest. You may never know how fruitful the tree can be tomorrow.

It is necessary to encourage children to maximize their potential for God’s glory. Let children have the right support and environment to grow meaningfully and contribute to community building. They are like diamonds in dark rooms. They need light to be discovered and shine.

Muna is an example of the kind of children we need to develop. She is not just a child, but an instrument in God’s hands. She is a little girl with great ideas.
