“God selects from people someone He wants to use.” This was what you told me on the 27-5-2020, when I shared a burden from the Lord about a project of training 10,000 young African CEOs. You encouraged me to go on further.

As a writer, I have thought about what to write about you out of the many things you were (and are) to me before you left this world. Words became scarce. The news about your death hit me hard. Even though I knew about your illness and we chatted online, I had hope that you would return in good health from Denmark. However, God’s purpose prevailed.
You were different things to me:
AS A FATHER: We first met through my father, Rev. J.D. Yiri (late), many years ago in Numan, Adamawa state. You were a friend to him, and we all lived in the LCCN headquarters compound in Numan. You accepted me as a son. I have enjoyed various fatherly advices from you.
AS A LEADER: You have shown interest in my development in various ways. You were passionate about my writings and further development.
AS A VISIONARY: You were a visionary. Your words were firm and filled with wisdom. Those who listened to you must have benefited the way I did. I remember when I started my ADVICE TO THE PRESIDENT series on Facebook, you called me after watching one of the videos and encouraged me to go on. You saw in me what others could not see and made yourself available to encourage me. God really used you, Baba, and glory to Him alone.AS OUR BIGGEST INDIVIDUAL BOOK CUSTOMER: Many individuals have bought books from us, but you were the biggest of them all. Your passion towards some of my books and projects got my attention, and I deeply appreciate it. Starting with the book, SLAVERY OF THE MIND, you went on, bought many and freely gave them to people to read, including security officers and leaders in the church. I remember how you ordered hundreds of copies of a few titles in my Muna Pagir Series and shared them with children in various rural areas. I also remember how you travelled for hours from Yola to Jos to attend my book launch, titled STORMS OF THE MIND.
You contributed a comment in the book and also supported it, “In Storms of the Mind, Pusonnam Yiri not only executes a fantastic story, packed with connections, emotions and experience, but he goes a step further by making the lessons learned within the story, lessons that are beneficial to everyone reading the book. This book brought laughter, smiles, heartache, and a realization of the heart of which many books do not do. Lessons are learned on every page of this book, and in the end, the answer is revealed. This book not only makes situations real, but it also brings hope and shows how love can transform people. Through the love of one Man, we are all saved, but there must be a seeking first, and when we see, we will find.”
You were often thinking about how to help me move forward with the Muna Pagir Project for kids.
Baba, rest well with the Lord. Your legacies will continue to flourish. I am glad you have written a book some time ago about your journey on earth. The book will continue to inspire many, by the grace of God.
