INTERNATIONAL AUTHORS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (IADP)

Since 2010, we have used workshops and seminars to train book writers. These methods have been helpful in sharing information and offering a level of guidance. However, in today’s world—especially for African writers in the age of AI—we believe these approaches are no longer enough.

That is why we have developed a new model: Edit-Train. Unlike traditional methods, Edit-Train goes beyond information delivery. It is a direct, hands-on approach where training happens in real time as we work with the authors on their own manuscripts. The focus is not only on the book, but on the author’s growth—because the quality of the writer will always determine the quality of the writing journey.

We have tested this approach, and the results have been extraordinary:

“I thank my Consultant, Pusonnam Yiri, who reconfigured some texts, challenged many claims, put me to the task and asked probing questions to ensure that whatever is done in this process ultimately, conforms to established standards.” Victor M. Tukura (author of several books. Leader of MSL organization).

“Pusonnam Yiri who coached me on how to write, gave me immense guidance, read my first manuscript and offered useful counsel, and showered me with complementary comments each time he read the revised version.” Rev Jerry Faruk. Former General Secretary of NEW Life for All.

“I am also indebted to Mr. Pusonnam Yiri, Chairman and Managing Director of Nachau Turomale Centre LTD for your insight, suggestions, encouragement and assistance in structural editing and willingness to publish the book.” Rev. Monday Engom Affiku, PhD in Practical Theology.

Theologian.

“Pastor Pusonnam Yiri was my structural editor. Not only did he provide me with structural direction, he also meticulously critiqued this work at every stage. I thank Pastor Yiri for his uncompromising professionalism without which this book would not have attained it’s editorial pedestal.” Rev. N. C. Thompson, Founder and General Overseer of Redeemed People’s Mission Inc.

It is on this foundation that we are excited to introduce our first International Authors Development Programme.

This programme is built on years of experience. Since 2015, I have had the privilege of training hundreds of key players in the global publishing industry through the MAI platform, a renowned organization based in the USA. I have also served as one of their international writing contest judges, reviewing 36 articles from writers across cultures in different nations—an eye-opening experience that showed diverse philosophies and global perspectives on writing.

Combined with our journey of training hundreds of authors since 2010, we have identified both the gaps and the pressing needs of today’s writers. And we are convinced that the International Authors Development Programme is the best way forward.

This programme will empower authors to:

  • Discover unique local ideas.
  • Develop them into powerful content.
  • Write original and marketable books of international quality.
  • Share them with a global audience effectively through speaking and writing.
  • Turn their books into organizations or conferences with excellent curriculums.

This is part of our goal of mentoring extraleaders: People who are driven by the godly purpose, leading from their areas of calling, and conserving their values/stories and sharing them through speaking and writing.

Submit your brief profile to nachauturomale@gmail.com for consideration if you want to be part of the programme.
