I love ideas and searching for information. It did not clearly occur to me that intentional personal development is inevitable if I must develop. However, I changed my philosophy when Jim Rohn shared his testimony about how his mentor told him that “Things will change for him if he changes.” It made sense to me not only because of that, but it agrees with the biblical principle of conversion. Paul, the Samaritan woman, Peter and his associates, the prodigal son etc changed and things changed for them. I also changed in 1991 and many things changed for me.
It is clear to me that I am my biggest obstacle. The only way I can solve that problem is to change through personal development.
You too need this change. A dull axe is frustrating to use. Sharpen you inner axe. Become more to do more.
