Those who truly understand their goals care little about how others perceive them. Whether people accept them or not, they do not worry or become hostile simply because someone disagrees with or rejects their point of view.
Their goals are not centred on themselves. They understand that people see things differently, and they respect that reality. Their desire is simply to communicate values they believe can add value to someone’s life.
They know that some of the seeds they sow will one-day fall on fertile soil, germinate, grow, and bear fruit for both protagonists and antagonists alike. You may criticise them, reject them, or even abuse them, but one thing you cannot do is ignore them.
Just relax. Understand your goals and values. Communicate them respectfully. Value the views of others, and remember that hatred and bitterness do not reside in the character of the wise.
People do not have to believe you. They do not have to respect you. They do not have to welcome you or your views. Do what you need to do and trust God for the right results.
