Sometime ago, I was invited to speak at an event organized by the Adamawa community in Abuja. I spoke on entrepreneurship related topics. I also talked about the civil service system and how it derails continuity.
An old retired top senior civil servant was there and he listened to me. He personally told me how happy he was and that he would not have worked with the civil service if he had listened to me. That is if he was exposed to the information when he was young. It was really a huge reflection for him in retirement.
It is important for each one of us to mainly focus on building what is sustainable. Something you can hand over to your children.
