It took me years of training beginning authors in Nigeria to discover something important: seminars, workshops, and conferences are excellent for information sharing, exposure, networking, and mentor-participant connections, but they do not always guarantee high productivity.
Most participants receive valuable information, practical guidance, and applications during the meetings, but many struggle to sustain the momentum afterwards.
So many meetings, yet fewer books — and many still fall short of the international quality they were trained to achieve.
Some even avoid the proper publishing process and the guidance of the right experts, probably because they are in a hurry to publish and make money.
That realisation led me to introduce the DOWEP system — a method where we train authors directly while working on the manuscript itself.
Instead of only teaching principles, we guide writers through the actual writing, editing, structuring, and refining process in real time.
The results have been far better:
“To my consultant and chief editor, Pusonnam Yiri, whose passionate commitment and exceptional insights into the realities of Nigerian pastoral culture significantly elevated the quality and relevance of this book. Your wisdom sharpened my words, and your belief strengthened my voice” (Segun Aiyegbusi, author of UNSEEN BATTLES OF PASTORS).
“My editor and publisher, a renowned international book writer and coach, and the architect of this book, Evangelist Pusonnam Yiri, who for years has been on my neck to ensure I write a book. I thank and appreciate him for his encouragement and support” (Hosea E. Sukkushe, author of RETIREMENT).
“To crown it all, my deep appreciation goes to my consultant, Mr. Pusonnam Yiri of Nachau Turomale Centre LTD for all your support and encouragement” (Judith Ogedengbe, author of THE DANCING BUTTERFLY).
“Pastor Pusonnam Yiri was my structural editor. Not only did he provide me with structural direction, he also meticulously critiqued this work at every stage. I thank Pastor Yiri for his uncompromising professionalism without which this book would not have attained its editorial pedestal” (N. C. Thompson, Founder and General Overseer of Redeemed People’s Mission Inc, author of FAMILY DYNAMICS).
“I am also indebted to Mr. Pusonnam Yiri, Chairman and Managing Director of Nachau Turomale Centre LTD for your insight, suggestions, encouragement and assistance in structural editing and willingness to publish the book” (Monday Engom Affiku, author of PASTORAL CARE).
“Thanks to Pusonnam Yiri. Your encouragement has added value to the book” (Nahor Hato Samaila, author of BELLO AND ALMATU MISAL).
As an author development consultant, I am gradually moving away from the general training approach for African writers to the DOWEP approach, which is now the central working system of our International Author Development Programme.
OUR OFFER: We guide senior organisational leaders to write their legacy books and transform those books into conferences, organisations, training centres, and sustainable mass movements.
