- Many people have good things to say but because of a lack of training in writing, they do not know how to communicate well. This has led to the self-production of many ineffective books.
- Many Christian communities are under attack because of their faith. It is becoming difficult to reach the people within these communities with oral teaching of the Word of God. When good books are produced, they can easily serve as good resources that would encourage faith.
- Publishing organizations (especially in Africa) are often not experiencing massive growth because of a lack of enough well-written books. If potential writers are not trained, the problem will continue.
