I am convinced that we can solve the cancerous problem of poverty in Africa through family entrepreneurship.We have many successful individuals but few successful families. Most individuals can easily lose their successes when they die.
Family success can be sustainable when the family members have the right philosophy of starting and building wealth through the concept of having a family company.
Africans need to evolve and focus more on family driven success rather than individual success.
The survival pressure from poor family members can crush the success of one family member, but a successful family can support and develop an unsuccessful member.
Parents must refocus and establish family companies so they can hand over to their children. It is hard to do that, but rewarding if we get the right philosophy, and do it right.
