Your job is not to give people what they already have. You need to give them what they don’t have or a better version of what they already have. Never release a book that is not fresh.
Are you a COOKER or a MICROWAVE? Write mainly as a cooker.
EIGHT GOLDEN QUESTIONS YOU NEED TO ASK
- What is the problem I am hoping to solve?
You need to find a problem which is like a disease in the medical world.
- Is the idea meaningful and a solution to the problem I have discovered?
The idea is the medicine. It has to solve the problem of the disease that you have discovered.
- Is the idea from my leadership experience?
Your unwritten leadership experience is not yet in the market.
- Is the idea local and different?
It doesn’t have to be the best idea. Make sure it is local and different. A reader can buy ten different books on the same subject.
- Am I writing with my audience or for my audience?
The readers are like the patients who need the medicine you have produced. Make sure you test the medicine with a sample audience before release. There must be a trial period.
- Is the content fresh?
Ensure that your primary content is from your primary source.
- Do I have the right justification to write on the subject?
Provide an answer to this question, WHAT QUALIFIES ME TO WRITE ON THIS SUBJECT?
- Have you tested it through speaking?
If your potential readers love what they hear they may love what they read. Verify and Enhance your content through speaking.
